EVALUATING THE PERFORMANCE AND VERSATILITY

This trail camera will adapt to the operation you want it to perform. It will serve you in a variety of situations: from wildlife observation to home security. It is capable of detecting vehicles and larger animals in a range of 50 feet, and smaller animals from a distance of 20-30 feet.

At the right angle, this camera will provide you with a quality resolution of the photos and videos. The adjustable sensibility will ensure the excellent performance of the detecting feature. Thus, the sensors will monitor any movement that comes into range. With a trigger speed of 0.3s, this device will work fast enough to capture running animals during daytime and nighttime. You can also see the license plate numbers of cars.

EASE OF USE, BATTERY LIFE, AND CONSTRUCTION

Campark Trail Game Camera 14MP 1080P Waterproof Hunting Scouting Cam for Wildlife Monitoring with 120°Detecting Range Motion Activated Night Vision 2.4” LCD IR LEDsAn advantage of this trail camera is that it is durable and waterproof. The camouflage design is perfect for when you are out in nature. However, if you are buying it as a surveillance camera, you can paint it to match the color of your house.

You might face some difficulties when installing the camera. It comes in Chinese, which means that you will need to go through different options to find the language menu. Once you manage to adjust the language, all other operations will be clear and straightforward.

The battery’s life depends on whether you use it with four or eight batteries. You will need to buy 1.5V AA batteries. The standby time of the device is six months.

THE CAMPARK TRAIL GAME CAMERA’S SIGNATURE FEATURES

What impressed us about this camera was the password protection mode. This feature will help you protect the contents of the SD card. Thus, if the camera falls in the wrong hands, nobody apart from you will be able to view the photos and videos you have taken.

Another signature feature of the device is the 3PIR. It contrasts the 1PIR of some cameras, for example, because it is capable of taking pictures quicker — the higher the speed, the lower the battery consumption. The camera will monitor the field and initiate the trigger only when the sensors register movement.

WARRANTY AND POSSIBLE DRAWBACKS

The company offers you to return the product and get your money back within 45 days after the purchase. If you experience any issues after the period, you can call customer services in regards to the 1-year warranty.

Unfortunately, the camera does not come with a micro SD card. The slot where you need to place it is small and thus difficult to access. Another issue we had with the design was that when you try to remove the protective film, you risk to scratch the surface of the lens. Note that you will achieve better results in open spaces. The quality of the photos through the window will not be the greatest.

SUMMING UP OUR THOUGHTS

We find this trail camera to be of great help to people who want to monitor the field into the wild and to those who want to protect their homes. Although we installation to be confusing, we still liked this product because it will endure rainy weather and take photos and videos at high speed. The fact that you can adjust the sensibility provides you with excellent resolution of the pictures. Protect your camera with a personal password and use it at any time.
