EVALUATING PERFORMANCE AND VERSATILITY

Campark Trail Game CamerasThis model Campark Trail Game Camera is capable of undertaking several tasks thanks to the lens and menu features. It takes pictures after it detects a moving object. With a trigger speed of 0.3s, this device will monitor the field in a 65-foot depth.  The time frame is fully adjustable to adapt to your personal preferences. Therefore, if you wish, the camera will perform only during the night or a prolonged time. A good addition to the product is the little tripod that will allow you to place it anywhere and use it for various purposes. The camera will not produce noise when taking pictures, which will help keep the location of the camera secret.

EASE OF USE, BATTERY LIFE, AND CONSTRUCTION

The camera functions with a set of 8 AA batteries. We recommend that you buy Lithium batteries as they will last longer and provide more power. Note, however, that even Lithium batteries will drain quickly with heavy abuse. Another option to supply the camera with power is to connect it to an external 6V DC provider. You will need a cord with plug size 3.5×1.3mm.

The menu is understandable enough and easy to navigate. Although the camera has an IP66 waterproof shell, you might still notice water entering the lens. The construction itself is sturdy and durable.

SIGNATURE FEATURES

One of our favorite features about this camera is the time-lapse option. Once you adjust your camera, you will be able to observe the development of animals and plants, and also keep an eye on your house over the night. By choosing a specific working time, you will save battery.

We also loved the fact that the night mode turns on automatically. This function spares you another task to remember. Once the camera detects night darkness, it will switch the infrared trigger on to take photos and videos.

WARRANTY AND POSSIBLE DRAWBACKS

If for whatever reason you want to return the camera, the company will pay your money back. Note that this policy expires 45 days after the purchase. After that, you will have access to a 1-year warranty. If your camera has any issues, call customer service, and they will help you.

One of our concerns with this product is that the batteries drain quite quickly. Make sure that you have a stack of them so that the functions of the camera are not interrupted. Another drawback of this unit is the fact that some water might enter the lens when it is raining even though the camera is waterproof. Also, you will find that the mini SD card is difficult to remove without moving the camera.

SUMMING UP OUR THOUGHTS

Overall, our thoughts lead to one thing, and that is that the Campart Trail Game Camera will provide you with the standard features of other cameras of this kind. Even though heavy abuse will make you change the batteries more often, this disadvantage will not hinder the functionality of the device. You will enjoy quality photos and videos throughout day and night.
